Tighnari Overview – Genshin Impact Guide

“Tighnari” is a Dendro element burst damage dealer who can periodically inflict high-frequency damage. His charged lv2 attack “Wreath Arrow” produces “Clusterbloom ” that tracks nearby enemies upon hit. His Elemental Skill “Vijnana-Phala Mine” creates a field that taunts enemies and greatly reduces the charging time of “Wreath Arrow”. His Elemental Burst fires numerous tracking vines that deal Dendro element damage to nearby enemies.

Talent Analysis Tighnari – Genshin Impact Guide

Talent Priority

Normal Attack > Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill

Tartaglia has high damage output for his normal attacks and Elemental Burst, so it is recommended an even distribution prioritize these talents first, then consider the Elemental Skill level (recommended level is 8/6/8 or higher).

Normal Attack

Tighnari Normal Attack

  • It takes 3 seconds for Tighnari to Charge attack Level 2 attack (without using Elemental Skill)
  • Both the stage-two charged attack (Flower-Scoped Arrow) and the 4 split arrows (Clusterbloom Arrows) that appear after hitting an enemy are considered heavy attacks.
  • The charged attacks (Stage-one or Stage-two) can apply 1 Gauge Unit (1 Dendro elemental aura, 9.5 seconds) separately, without affecting each other.
  • When the character has 0 Constellation, only one of the four split arrows can apply 1 Gauge Unit.
  • The Stage-two charged attack can only apply 1 Gauge Unit once, and the split arrows can only apply 1 Gauge Unit once. This means that each time the Stage-two charged attack can only apply 1 Gauge Unit twice, and can trigger the Spread reaction twice.

Elemental Skill (E)

Tighnari elemental Skill

  • Hitting an enemy with the skill produces 2-3 Dendro elemental particles.
  • Enemies within the Vijnana-Khanda Field are taunted and will not attack the character. This effect does not work on bosses.
  • The Vijnana Suffusion effect still applies when the character is outside the Vijnana-Khanda Field.
  • The elemental skill applies 1 Gauge Unit (9.5 seconds of Dendro elemental aura).

Elemental Burst (Q)

Tighnari elemental bust

  • The burst consists of 12 attacks, with six main arrows and six split arrows. The main arrows hit the enemy first and then produce split arrows to deal damage.
  • All 12 arrows from the burst are considered as elemental burst damage.
  • The burst applies 1 Gauge Unit four times. The first six main arrows apply 1 Gauge Unit twice, and the last six split arrows also apply 1 Gauge Unit twice.

Passive Talent

Tighnari elemental Passive Talent

The damage bonus from “Scholarly Blade” (passive talent) for heavy attacks is considered as a damage increase and will be added to the Dendro damage bonus.

Comparison of Damage Expectations with Different Weapons and Artifacts for Tighnari

Weapon selection explanation

Tighnari, being a character with a Dendro bonus, can cause multiple Dendro Aura within a short period of time, which can trigger multiple Spread reaction in the team, and the damage boost from Spread reaction requires attributes such as Tighnari’s Elemental Mastery, Critical Hit Rate, and Critical Hit Damage. For Tighnari without additional sources of Critical Hit Rate, Critical Hit is particularly important, which means that weapons with Critical Hit Rate and Critical Hit Damage as secondary attributes should be prioritized.

  • The passive effect of the weapon “Hunter’s Path” can provide additional Elemental Mastery boost from Nahida’s 1st Passive talent “Compassion Illuminated” and Sucrose’s 2nd Passive talent “Mollis Favonius” (Light of Foliar Incision also applies).
  • When using the weapon “Aqua Simulacra”, it is recommended to face the enemy at close range to prevent the passive damage increase from not triggering due to being slightly too far away.
  • When using the weapon “Polar Star”, you can perform one normal attack first to speed up the accumulation of passive stacks.
  • In addition to the above 5-star weapons, “Thundering Pulse” can also be chosen. Although its passive effect mainly increases normal attack damage, its 66.2% Critical Hit Damage boost is still considerable for Tighnari.
  • When using the weapon “Slingshot”, Tighnari’s split arrow cannot trigger the passive damage increase, but instead will reduce damage by 10%, because the timing for the split arrow starts when the second charged arrow is fired, which makes the time longer than 0.3 seconds.
  • In addition to the above weapons, “King’s Squire” and “Windblume Ode” can also be chosen, but attention should also be paid to stacking Critical Hit Rate and Critical Hit Damage.

Artifact selection and attribute explanation

  • The preferred artifact set is “Gilded Dreams” 4-piece set. In addition, the “Wanderer’s Troupe” 4-piece set can also be considered.
  • When there is only one Dendro character in the team, the “Deepwood Memories” 4-piece set can also be considered.
  • It is recommended that Tighnari’s Critical Hit Rate be between 70% and 85%, and Critical Hit Damage be between 140% and 170%.

Explanation of Constellation Effects – Tighnari Guide Genshin impact

  • Constellations 1, 2, and 4 provide a slight increase in damage output for the Tighnari.
  • Constellations 3 and 5 increase the skill level of the Tighnari’s elemental burst and elemental skill, respectively.
  • Constellation 6 adds an additional arrow to the Tighnari’s charged attack, which can cause 1 Gauge Unit, triggering the spread reaction and greatly increasing the Tighnari’s burst damage.

Overall, constellation effects are mainly used to increase the character’s damage output, with constellation 6 having the most significant effect, especially with the additional arrow causing Gauge Units. Constellation 0 has a relatively complete mechanism, while constellations 1-5 provide relatively small improvements. With the addition of the character to the permanent banner, it also means that it is possible to obtain the Tighnari from Character event wish.

Tighnari’s Best Team Comps – Genshin Impact Guide

Double Dendro Reaction Team Composition

Tighnari, Nahida, Zhongli, and Yae Miko provides support for Dendro and mastery to increase the damage of the team’s Catalyze reactions. Zhongli provides a shield and lowers the enemy’s Dendro and Electro resistance, further improving the team’s damage output. Tighnari has excellent burst damage and excellent output sequence.

  • Alternative characters to replace Zhongli: Layla, Diona, Jean, and Yaoyao.
  • Recommended output technique: Zhongli’s E, Nahida’s E&Q, Yae Miko’s EEEQEEE, and Tartaglia’s E&Q then followed by 3 charged shots.

Relevant Character Guide:

Nahida Build

  • First, consider whether the character’s Elemental Mastery is between 900-1000.
  • When paired with a Dendro element output character or a Dendro element reaction team, prioritize using the 4-piece of the Deepwood Memories set.
  • When the team doesn’t have a shield/healing character, consider using the Prototype Amber.

Zhongli Build

  1. For Support Role, prioritize stacking HP to increase shield strength.
  2. For DPS Role, consider choosing weapons and artifacts with dual critical stats.
  3. If using the Favonius Lance, focus on stacking critical hit rate.

Yae Miko Build

  1. For Non-Catalyze teams, prioritize weapons with double critical stats and attack power; for Catalyze teams, you can choose weapons with mastery, such as The A Thousand Floating and Mappa Mare.
  2. It is recommended to have a critical rate of 70% or more, and other effective attributes include critical damage, percentage attack, and elemental mastery.

Double Electro Reaction Team Composition

Keqing, Fischl, Yaoyao, and Tighnari

With a high frequency of elemental attachments, Aggrɑvate and Spread damage can be maximized by using Dendro and Electro characters.

After releasing her elemental skill, Tartaglia can deal significant burst damage in a short period, making him a Quick Switch Character. It is recommended to trigger the Quicken reaction with the Electro character’s elemental skill to quickly cause Spread damage.

▶ Recommended output technique: Yaoyao’s elemental skill, Fischl’s elemental skill, Tighnari’s EQ followed by a charged attack, and Keqing’s EQE followed by a charged attack.

Relevant Character Guide:

Keqing Build

  1. Prioritize weapons with dual critical stats, followed by weapons with attack or mastery stats.
  2. For high base attack characters, prioritize the attack Clock; for low base attack characters, prioritize the mastery Clock.
  3. It is recommended to level up all three talents of Keqing’s skill set.

Fischl Build

  1. “Elegy for the End” provides functionality, while the others tend to lean towards output.
  2. “Pin-Lei” is used more in conjunction with low-frequency grass characters.
  3. Prioritize elemental skill, followed by elemental burst. Do not upgrade normal attack unless necessary for the main DPS character.
