v3.6 Nahida Best Build Guide Genshin Impact

Welcome! This Guide will cover every aspect of Nahida build in Genshin Impact. Talent, Weapons, Artifacts, Constellations, Team Comps, etc.

Nahida Character Overview – Genshin Impact Guide

“Nahida” is a Dendro character who can consistently provide Dendro-related elemental reaction conditions and off-field damage. She can continuously apply Dendro elemental attachments through her elemental skill to trigger related Dendro elemental reactions with other characters. By unleashing her elemental burst, she can further optimize the damage, trigger interval, etc. of her elemental skill based on the elemental types in the team. After unleashing her elemental burst, she can increase the elemental mastery of the on-field characters in the team through her passive talent.

Elemental Skill Elemental Burst > Normal Attack

As a catalyst character, Nahida’s normal attacks can apply Dendro elements aura. If she is used as a background character, her normal attack can be left at a low level (1/8/8) while it should be leveled up (8/8/8) if she is used as a frontline character.

Normal Attack

Genshin Impact Guide Nahida Normal Attack

  1. Nahida’s Normal Attack has a short range, unlike the projectile-based Normal Attacks of other catalyst users. She needs to get close to enemies to hit them accurately.
  2. Like other catalyst users, Nahida’s Normal Attack deals 4 hits of damage over 4 attacks.
  3. Nahida’s Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Plunging Attacks can apply a weak Dendro elemental aura(1 gauge unit, 9.5s duration).
  4. Nahida’s Normal Attacks follow the rule “When hitting the same enemy within 2.5s, a Dendro elemental attachment is applied every 2 attacks.” Each Charged Attack applies a Dendro elemental aura.

Elemental Skill (E)

Genshin Impact Guide Nahida Elemental Skill

  1. There are no elemental particles produced when the skill is used, but using Tri-Karma will generate 3 Dendro elemental particles when it hits an enemy. The cooldown time is 7 seconds.
  2. Each use of Tri-Karma can apply a middle-level Dendro element applyment (1.5 elemental gauge units).
  3. When facing close-range enemies, players can choose to tap the E button to create a circular area of effect. For group enemies, enemies at a distance, or enemies that are dispersed, players should prioritize using the aimed E button by holding it down.
  4. The skill is very resistant to interruption when in the aiming mode, similar to the resistance to interruption when Raiden Shogun is using her ultimate.
  5. Within a certain range, all enemies marked with the Tri-Karma will be linked.
  6. When one of the linked enemies triggers an elemental reaction (including Dendro Core damage), all linked enemies will be attacked with Dendro damage that has a Dendro applyment.
  7. There is a time interval for the Dendro damage attack, and each enemy can only be attacked once during an interval.

Elemental Burst (Q)

Genshin Impact Guide Nahida Elemental Burst

  1. Nahida’s elemental burst is a buff-type skill that does not cause damage. After using the skill, it will produce different effects based on the number of Pyro/ Electro/ Hydro elemental characters in the team. (See the skill chart above for details.)
  2. When Nahida has zero constellation, the maximum level of each effect requires 2 corresponding elemental characters in the team. When there is only one corresponding elemental character in the team, the maximum level of each effect is limited to one.
  3. The area of effect is much larger than that of other characters such as Ganyu and Ayato.

Passive Talent

Genshin Impact Guide Nahida Passive talent

Passive Talent 1

  1. This talent provides a locked value of Elemental Mastery to the teammates on the field, based on the highest non-extra Elemental Mastery in the party when Nahida uses her Burst. This value remains constant until the end of the Burst duration.
  2. For example, if the highest non-extra Elemental Mastery in the party is 500 when Nahida uses her Burst, she can provide 125 Elemental Mastery, and even if a character’s Elemental Mastery increases to 1000 during the Burst, this talent will not increase.
  3. As mentioned above, it is recommended to trigger the set effect before using Nahida’s Burst when she has equipped the Gilded Dreams 4-piece set.
  4. The percentage of Elemental Mastery provided by Sucrose’s Passive Talent 2 is considered extra Elemental Mastery and cannot be converted by Nahida’s talent. However, the Elemental Mastery provided by Nahida’s 4 constellation bonus is considered non-extra Elemental Mastery and can be converted.

Passive Talent 2

  1. The damage bonus from “Tri-Karma” talent is classified as damage bonus, and is calculated by adding it to the Dendro-elemental damage bonus.
  2. The increased critical rate will not be directly calculated in the character’s attributes panel.
  3. This talent will convert based on Nahida’s total Elemental Mastery (non-extra and extra Elemental Mastery combined). Note that Elemental Mastery provided by artifacts and weapons is considered non-extra Elemental Mastery.

Passive Talent 3

  1. Nahida can collect static gathering materials by holding down her Elemental Skill, but cannot collect dynamic gathering materials or materials that require special methods to obtain (such as Sakura Bloom).
  2. By holding down her Elemental Skill, Nahida can aim at the permanent NPCs in Sumeru, and read their thoughts to see their psychological activities.

Nahida’s Best Weapon Choice – Genshin Impact Nahida Guide

When choosing a weapon for Nahida, it is recommended to prioritize weapons with Elemental Mastery in the range of 900-1000. If her Elemental Mastery is lower than this range, it is recommended to prioritize weapons with Elemental Mastery, and if it is higher than this range, weapons with double critical can be considered.

Mastery-type Weapons

A Thousand Floating DreamsWandering EvenstarMappa MareMagic Guide

  1. When choosing between the Wandering Evenstar and the Magic Guide, prioritize the high-refinement Wandering Evenstar as it can assist the DPS character in the team.
  2. The passive effect of the Magic Guide can be triggered in the background, while that of the Mappa Marecannot be triggered.
  3. Although the Fruit of Fulfillment provides additional mastery, it requires high refinement and will lower Nahida’s attack power. The activation of Nahida’s 50 energy is not a strict requirement for energy recharge efficiency.
  4. Although the Sacrificial Fragments can provide high elemental mastery, its passive effect has a small increase for Nahida. It can be chosen if there are no weapons mentioned above.

Dual-Crit Weapons

Kaguras VerityThe WidsithLost Prayer to the Sacred WindsSolar Pearl

  1. Dual-crit weapons can be considered when the elemental mastery is above 900. Otherwise, prioritize mastery-type weapons.
  2. When playing in the field, prioritize weapons such as the Kagura’s Verity (5), Lost Prayer to the Sacred Anemos (5), Solar Pearl (4), and the Mappa Mare (4).
  3. [Note] When there are other characters in the team with high mastery values, such as Kazuha and Sucrose, and there are no other healing or shielding characters, Nahida can use the Prototype Amber to improve the team’s fault tolerance.

Nahida’s Best Artifact Recommendation- Genshin Impact Nahida Guide

Substats Priority – Genshin Impact Nahida Guide

Before reaching Mastery level 1000: Elemental Mastery > Crit DMG ≥ Crit Rate > ATK% > Other

After reaching Mastery level 1000: Crit DMG ≥ Crit Rate > Elemental Mastery > ATK% > Other

Artifact selection and attribute explanation – Genshin Impact Nahida Guide

  1. When using Nahida as a DPS character, it is recommended to prioritize the Gilded Dreams artifact set. When using her as a support for other Anemo characters, the Deepwood Memories artifact sets can be used.
  2. For transitional artifact sets, the Flower of Paradise Lost X2 + Gilded Dreams X2 or the Instructor X2 + Gambler X2 sets can be used.
  3. Kazuha’s Mastery threshold is 1000. When below 850, prioritize Elemental Mastery on the Crown artifact. When above 950, the double Crit Rate Crown can be chosen.
  4. For 4 constellations and above, consider using the Dendro DMG Cup artifact and double Crit Rate Crown based on Kazuha’s Elemental Mastery.

Nahida’s Constellation Effects Guide in Genshin Impact

Nahida’s Constellation – Genshin Impact Guide

Genshin Impact Guide Nahida constellation

Explanation of Constellation Effects – Genshin Impact Nahida Guide

  1. The effect of C1 can reduce the required number of a specific element by 1 (this count does not affect the triggering of Nilou’s Passive talent). For example, even if there are no Pyro characters in the team, using Nilou’s Elemental Burst after unlocking C1 can still obtain the effect of 1 layer of Pyro element.
  2. C2 can increase the damage dealt by characters in the team when they are infused with Dendro element. This effect is particularly significant when triggering the Transformative Reactions with Dendro element, as it has a 20% chance to directly double the damage dealt.
  3. The additional effect of C6 Tri-Karma produces a weak Dendro element apply (1 elemental gauge unit) every 2.5 seconds and every 2 attacks, following the rule of, The damage dealt by Elemental Skill is changed to element skill DMG, and it can benefit from relevant skill damage bonus.

Overall, C1, C2, C4, and C5 are team-wide buffs, while C3 and C6 increase Nahida’s own damage output. The mechanism of C0 is relatively complete, and unlocking C1 can bring a significant boost to the team, especially for Dendro-related reactions. If you have sufficient resources, you can unlock C2 to experience Nahida’s own explosive damage output.

Nahida’s Best Team Comps – Genshin Impact Guide

Double Electro Catalyze Quick Swich Team Comps – Genshin Impact

Kazuha + Nahida (high refinement Prototype Amber) + Fischl/Miko + Keqing/Raiden Shogun

As mentioned earlier, Nahida’s skill will convert her Elemental Mastery into a teammate’s based on the one with the highest Elemental Mastery in the party. If Kazuha has the highest Elemental Mastery when Nahida uses Prototype Amber, then Nahida’s burst will convert Elemental Mastery based on Kazuha’s stats.

[Note]

This team requires some skill to ensure the characters’ survivability. You can swap Kazuha for a shield support or a healer to increase the team’s survivability. In this case, Nahida should use Elemental Mastery and a weapon with double Crit Rate.

In this team composition, Nahida should use a 4-piece Gilded Dreams set, Kazuha should use a 4-piece Viridescent Venerer set , Keqing should use a 4-piece Thundering Fury set, Raiden Shogun should use a 4- piece Emblem of Severed Fate set, Fischl should use a 2-piece Thundering Fury + 2-piece ATK set, and Miko should use a 2-piece Thundering Fury set and a 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale set.

Recommended Output Rotation

Keqing + Fischl: Fischl’s E, Kazuha’s EQ, Nahida’s EQ, Keqing’s EQE to switch to normal / charged attack.

Raiden Shogun + Miko: Raiden Shogun’s E, Xiangling’s EEEQEEE, Kazuha’s EQ, Nahida’s EQ, Raiden Shogun’s Q to switch to normal / charged attack rotation.

Double Electro Catalyze Long-Rotation Composition – Genshin Impact

Cyno (main DPS) + Fischl (sub-DPS) + Nahida (mastery support) + shield support/healer

Can swap Fischl for: Kuki Shinobu, Traveler(electro), or Dori

Cyno’s burst has a long output time, and there are few offhand Amplify characters that can cover the entire duration, making the options for Electro teammates limited.

The second Electro teammate needs to have a supportive playstyle, generate particles, and recover Cyno’s burst energy. Other options besides the above are Miko and Raiden Shogun.

Recommended Output Rotation

(when paired with Fischl and Zhongli)

Fischl’s E, Nahida’s EQ, Zhongli’s Holding E, Cyno’s Q, and output.

Double Dendro Catalyze Team Comps – Genshin Impact

Tighnari, Nahida, Electro Elemental Character, Shield Support/Healer

Electro Elemental Character Options: Raiden Shogun, Fischl, Keqing, Miko.

Tighnari’s output time is short, and the overall team leans towards fast Swiching, so when paired with a Electro elemental teammate, it’s better to choose characters with off-hand attacks or fast cutting abilities.

[Note] During Double Dendro reaction, Nahida wears a four-piece Deepwood Memories Set and Tighnari wears a four-piece Gilded Dreams set.

Recommended Output Rotation

Zhongli’s E , Miko’s EEEQEEE, Nahida’s EQ, Tighnari’s EQ followed by three heavy attacks.

Bloom Team Comps

Nahida, Background apply Dendro, Nilou, Hydro Elemental Character

Hydro Elemental Character Options: Sangonomiya Kokomi, Barbara, Yelan, Xingqiu, Ayaka

  1. When selecting Kokomi or Barbara for the team, Nahida should use a Mastery and double Crit weapon, while for others, it’s better to use the Prototype Amber.
  2. For high-end gameplay, Nahida can be stationed on the field, and a three-Hydro and one-Dendro comps can be used with “Nahida (field) + Sangonomiya Kokomi/Barbara + Yelan/Xingqiu + Nilou”. [Note] Traveler(dendro)/Collei uses a four-piece Deepwood Memories Set, Nahida wears a four-piece Gilded Dreams Set, Nilou uses a two-piece Tenacity of the Millelith Set and a two-piece Gilded Dreams Set, Kokomi uses a four-piece Ocean-Hued Clam Set, and Xingqiu/Yelan uses a four-piece Emblem of Severed Fate Set or a two-piece Tenacity of the Millelith Set and a two-piece Attack Set.

Recommended Output Rotation

Double Hydro and Double Dendro: Kokomi’s E , Nahida’s EQ, Nilou’s E , Traveler(dendro)/Collei’s EQ, Kokomi’s Q Skill followed by a normal attack.

Three Hydro and One Dendro (with Xingqiu): Xingqiu’s EQE, Nahida’s EQ, Nilou’s E , Nahida’s normal attack and stationed on the field.

Hyperbloom Team Comps – Genshin Impact

Nahida + Xingqiu + Kuki Shinobu + other

  1. Flexible element combinations based on elemental reactions. When a Dendro Core is near an enemy, Electro attacks hitting the enemy will trigger a Hyperbloom reaction with the Dendro field, and the damage of the Hyperbloom reaction is related to the level and mastery of the Electro character.
  2. Besides being a driver, Nahida can also be a catalyst character. In this case, the fourth member can choose Yelan, Beidou, Fischl, etc. to further increase the team’s damage.
  3. When using Kamisato Ayaka, Xingqiu can be replaced with Yelan, Kazuha, etc. to increase Ayaka’s damage, or Fischl can be paired to supplement the team’s damage. [Note] In a single Dendro Hyperbloom team, Nahida uses a 4-piece set of Deepwood Memories artifacts with three mastery artifacts. For double Dendro, consider using a 4-piece set of Gilded Dreams artifacts and (double mastery + CRIT) artifacts.

Recommended Output Rotation

Ayaka-Kuki-Fischl-Nahida: Ayaka’s Q, Nahida’s E+Q, Kuki’s E+Q, Fischl’s E, Ayaka’s E+A

Nahida as a DPS(with Beidou): Xingqiu’s E+Q+E, Nahida’s E+Q, Kuki’s E+Q, Beidou’s E+Q, Nahida’s normal attack

Hyperbloom – Catalyze Team Comps

Cryo (Ayaka) + Kuki Shinobu + Yelan (Fischl) + Nahida

The cooldown of Nahida’s skill is the shortest when used with double Electro characters. When paired with Hydro and Electro characters, high-frequency Electro characters can cooperate to produce Quicken reactions , also can creat Bloom reaction with hydro element, and Electro and Dendro Core can further trigger Hyperbloom reactions to achieve the purpose of supplementing damage.

This is more common in Electro characters with stacked Elemental Mastery, and belongs to a cross-play between Catalyze and Hyperbloom teams.

Recommended Output Rotation

Yelan’s E+Q, Nahida’s E+Q, Kuki Shinobu’s E, Cyno’s E+output

Four Archon Team Comps

Nahida + Raiden Shogun + Zhongli + Venti

There are currently four Archons in Teyvat, which can form a team. Nahida provides Dendro applyment, combined with the Electro to trigger Catalyze reactions, and Venti can gather enemies and also trigger Catalyze reactions after imbuing them with Electro. Zhongli provides shields to increase the team’s survivability.

Of course, you can also replace Venti with Kaedehara Kazuha to form a “Three Archons and One Emperor” combination.

[Note] In this team, Nahida uses a 4-piece set of Gilded Dreams artifacts and (double mastery + CRIT) artifacts.

Burgeon Team Comps – Genshin Impact

Nahida + Hydro character + Pyro character + others

  1. Similar to the Hyperbloom team, when the Dendro core is near the enemy, Pyro attacks that hit the enemy will trigger Burgeon reaction with the Dendro core. The damage of Burgeon reaction depends on the Pyro character’s level and mastery.
  2. However, unlike the characters with many elemental skills that can quickly release Pyro, the main characters that currently have long-lasting offhand Pyro effects are Thoma and Xiangling, who rely on elemental bursts. Therefore, attention needs to be paid to their energy recharge cycle.
  3. In addition to triggering Burgeon with Pyro characters, it is also possible to trigger Burgeon with high mastery and dyeable Anemo characters such as Kazuha, Venti, Sucrose, etc. For example, the team composition of “Nahida + Ayato + Bennett + Kazuha” can be formed. In this case, the energy recharge of the Anemo character is also a point that needs to be paid attention to.
  4. Stationing Pyro character: At this time, characters with the ability to quickly release Hydro can be selected, such as Yelan and Xingqiu.

That’s all for this Nahida character guide. See you next time!
