Yae Miko Character Overview – Genshin Impact Guide

Yae Miko is a Electro-element sub-DPS character who excels in both off-field sustained and burst damage. She leaves behind the Sesshou Sakura that deals continuous Electro-element damage through her Elemental Skill. When casting her Elemental Burst, she immediately destroys all Sesshou Sakura on the field, dealing explosive damage.

Yae Miko’s Talent Priority – Genshin Impact Yae Miko Guide

Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst > Normal Attack

Yae Miko mainly relies on her Elemental Skill and Burst for damage output, so her Normal Attack does not need to be leveled up if you are not using her as a main DPS.

Normal Attack

Genshin Impact Guide Yae Miko Normal Attack

Yae Miko’s normal attacks, charged attacks, and plunging attacks all apply a weak Electro-elemental aura (1 elemental gauge unit, lasting 9.5 seconds).

Elemental Skill (E)

Genshin Impact Guide Yae Miko Elemental Skill

  1. Sesshou Sakura can hit airborne enemies.
  2. The three Sesshou Sakuras can easily connect with each other as long as they are in a straight line or not too far apart.
  3. The Electro strikes caused by Sesshou Sakura apply a weak Electro-elemental aura (1 elemental gauge unit, lasting 9.5 seconds), following the “apply elemental aura every 2 attacks within 2.5 seconds” rule.
  4. Any Sesshou Sakura’s Electro strike can generate 1 Electro-element particle, with a 2.5-second cooldown. All Sesshou Sakuras share the same particle generation cooldown.
  5. Elemental Skill does not have a lock-on panel (snapshot) mechanism.

Elemental Burst (Q)

Genshin Impact Guide Yae Miko Elemental Burst

  1. Yae Miko’s Burst has a high damage multiplier but requires a long cooldown time and a large amount of energy, so it is important to improve her energy recharge. 1 constellation can improve that.
  2. Both Tenko Thunderbolt and Tenko Thunderbolts apply a weak Electro-elemental aura (1 elemental particle, lasting 9.5 seconds).
  3. The Burst requires three Sesshou Sakuras on the field to further increase Tenko Thunderbolt’s damage output.

Passive Talent

Genshin Impact Guide Yae Miko Passive talent

Passive 1 changes Yae Miko’s combo pattern to “3E, Q, 3E” when she is used as a quick-swap character.

Passive 2 amplifies damage and belongs to the damage boost range. It is calculated together with Yae Miko’s Electro-elemental damage bonus and has no upper limit.

Yae Miko’s Best Weapon Choice – Genshin Impact Yae Miko Guide

Currently, there are two main ways to play Yoimiya in Genshin Impact: “Catalyze” and “non-Catalyze”. The effective sub-attributes for selectable weapons are critical rate, critical damage, percentage attack, and elemental mastery (for Catalyze gameplay).

Dual critical rate/attack weapons

Kaguras VerityThe WidsithSkyward AtlasSolar Pearl

Dual critical weapons should be prioritized, whether playing in Catalyze or non-Catalyze teams, since dual critical rate is mainly obtained from weapon and artifact bonuses, while attack, mastery, and other attributes can be obtained from other support characters. In addition to the above, the Lost Prayer to the Sacred Anemos and the Blackcliff Agate can also be considered, mainly for their sub-stats of critical rate and critical damage.

Mastery weapons (for Catalyze gameplay)

A Thousand Floating DreamsWandering EvenstarMappa Mare

Genshin Impact Guide Yae Miko weapon comparison

  1. For non-Catalyze and non-Bloom gameplay, it is not recommended to prioritize mastery weapons. Dual critical rate and percentage attack are preferred.
  2. On the basis of comprehensive versatility, it is still recommended to prioritize dual critical and percentage attack weapons, which can provide certain guarantees in both Catalyze and non-Catalyze gameplay.
  3. Since Yoimiya is mainly a back-field damage dealer, the passive effect of the Lost Prayer to the Sacred Anemos will become useless.
  4. The passive effects of Memory of Dust, Mappa Mare, and Solar Pearl cannot be triggered in the background.

Yae Miko’s Best Artifact Recommendation- Genshin Impact Yae Miko Guide

Yae Miko’s Recommended Artifact – Genshin Impact Yae Miko Guide

Genshin Impact Guide Yae Miko artifacts

Artifact selection and attribute explanation – Genshin Impact Yae Miko Guide

  1. In Catalyze gameplay, prioritize dual critical rate weapons with a Gilded Dreams 4-piece set bonus, and prioritize attack Sands of Eon pair with mastery weapons.
  2. For pure electro damage gameplay, prioritize sets like Thundering Fury 2-piece and Gladiator’s Finale 2-piece, as well as attack Sands of Eon. The priority of sub-stats is dual critical > percentage attack > elemental mastery.
  3. The overall difference between a Gilded Dreams 4-piece set and mixed sets is not significant, and the advantage of mixed sets is that they are easier to combine with artifacts that have excellent sub-stats, while a Gilded Dreams 4-piece set may take more time to obtain and therefore have lower cost performance. Therefore, if you already have a mixed set with excellent sub-stats, you can consider using a “2+2” combination.
  4. In addition to sets like Thundering Fury 2-piece and Gladiator’s Finale 2-piece, other combinations like Thundering Fury 2-piece and Mastery 2-piece (with the Flower of Paradise Lost 2-piece or Gilded Dreams 2-piece) can also be considered.
  5. It is recommended to have a critical rate of 70%-85% and a critical damage of around 180% for non-dual critical weapons, and a critical rate of 220%-240% for dual critical weapons.

Yae Miko’s Constellation Effects Guide in Genshin Impact

Yae Miko’s Constellation – Genshin Impact Guide

Damage Expectation Percentage Comparison

Explanation of Constellation Effects – Genshin Impact Yae Miko Guide

The starting energy requirement of the ultimate talent has been reduced from 90 to 66 in the first constellation.

Constellations 2 to 5 increase damage with a similar magnitude.

Constellation 6 significantly enhances the Yae Miko’s Sesshou Sakura‘s damage output, which has a similar effect to the second constellation of the Raiden Shogun, ignoring enemy defenses.

Overall, the first constellation optimizes the charging of the ultimate talent, constellations 2 to 5 increase damage gradually, while the sixth constellation provides a substantial damage boost. Players who want to use Yae Miko in their team can choose to obtain the first constellation to optimize charging or the sixth constellation to experience automated high damage output.

Yae Miko’s Best Team Comps – Genshin Impact Guide

Double Dendro Catalyze Team Comps – Genshin Impact

Tighnari, Nahida, Zhongli, and Yae Miko.

Nahida provides excellent support for Dendro aura applycation back-field and boosts the performance of the team’s on-field characters. Zhongli’s charged attack provides a shield and reduces the enemy’s resistance to Dendro and Electro elements, further enhancing the team’s damage output. Tighnari has excellent burst damage and a great rotation.

Recommended Output Rotation

Zhongli Holding E, Yae Miko’s E+E+E, Nahida’s E+Q, Yae Miko’s Q+E+E+E, and finally Tighnari’s E+Q, followed by three charged arrow shots.

Note: (1) When the enemy is in the Quicken infoluence and Nahida’s burst skill is casting, Yae Miko can use her burst skill. (2) To maintain the continuous presence of the Sesshou Sakura on the field, the overall team should be geared toward fast switch.

Relevant Character Guide

  3. Substats should prioritize dual critical stats, followed by elemental mastery and percentage-based attack.
Nahida Build

Genshin Impact Team Comps Guide nahida build 2

  1. Prioritize elemental mastery in the 900-1000 range.

  3. If the team does not have a shield or healing character, consider trying out the prototype Malice.
  4. Nahida’s critical rate should be between 70-85%, non-double-critical weapons’ critical rate should be between 160-180%, and double-critical weapons’ critical rate should be between 200-220%.

Double Electro Catalyze Team Comps – Genshin Impact

Electro-element character + Yae Miko + Nahida + others

Using the background Electro damage of Yae Miko and other Electro-element characters, the team can optimize the rotation through double Electro resonance after triggering the Quicken reaction. At this time, Nahida can choose to use the Gilded Dreams Set with double critical attributes.

Electro-element character options: Keqing, Fischl, Cyno, Raiden Shogun, etc.

Fourth member options:

Shield Support: Zhongli, Diona (also healing), Layla

Healing Character: Kuki Shinobu, Dori(more compatible with Cyno), Jean, Sayu, etc.

Recommended Output Rotation (with Zhongli)

Note: When Nahida chooses to use the Gilded Dreams 4-piece , if the mastery level is not yet 1000 before triggering the set effect, the Electro-element character can first apply the Electro aura, and then Nahida can use her skill to triggerthe passive effect of gilded dreams artifacts before using her Burst.

Recommended Output Rotation

Raiden Shogun E, Yae MikoE+E+E, Kazuha E+Q, Bennett E+Q, Yae MikoE+E+E, Raiden Shogun Q and output

Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, Yoimiya, and Kokomi
