Dori’s Talent Priority – Genshin Impact Dori Guide

Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill > Normal Attack

Normal Attack

Genshin Impact Guide Dori Normal Attack

Normal Attack is not Dori’s main mechanism. It is not a priority when leveling up skills.

Elemental Skill (E)

Genshin Impact Guide Dori Elemental Skill

Cooldown: 9 seconds

After hitting, the Elemental Skill will produce additional After-Sales Service Rounds to track nearby enemies. If there is only one enemy, it will attack that enemy.

The Elemental Skill applies weak Electro aura (9.5s). If the initial Troubleshooter Shots and subsequent After-Sales Service Rounds hit the same enemy, only Troubleshooter Shots can cause weak Electro aura (9.5s).

After hitting enemies, the Elemental Skill will produce 2 Electro particles.

Elemental Burst (Q)

Energy Cost: 80 Duration: 12 seconds Cooldown: 20 seconds

After casting the Elemental Burst, it will link on-field characters and Jinni in a fixed area, continuously restoring HP and Energy.

Similar to Bennett, characters linked in the area will be infused with Electro. Enemy elemental attacks and some attacks in your own team that can cause other elemental auras (Bennett Q, Xingqiu E, Kokomi E, Diona E, Jean Q, etc.) will react with this self-infused Electro element.

The Elemental Burst applies weak Electro aura (9.5s).

Passive Talent

Each use of the Elemental Skill will trigger one Energy Recharge. After Sacrificial Sword resets the Elemental Skill CD and hits an enemy again, it can still trigger.

Dori’s Best Weapon Choice – Genshin Impact Dori Guide

Passive talents can recover additional energy for the Elemental Burst based on Dori’s energy recharge. The Elemental Burst requires 80 energy, so weapons with the substat “Elemental Recharge” can be considered when choosing weapons.

Weapon selection

Katsuragikiri Nagamasa

Katsuragikiri Nagamasa

Dori’s Elemental Burst can only restore HP and Energy for current on-field characters. Dori often needs to switch to off-field after casting her Elemental Burst. Equipping Katsuragikiri Nagamasa not only increases her own Energy recharge efficiency with the substat of Energy Recharge, but can also restore Energy off-field, which fits Dori well.

Favonius Greatsword, Sacrificial Greatsword

Favonius GreatswordSacrificial Greatsword

When equipped with Favonius Greatsword, pay attention to stacking more Crit Rate on Dori to trigger its passive effect.

Dori’s two stages of attacks (Troubleshooter shots, After-Sales Service Rounds) with her Elemental Skill can both trigger the passive of Sacrificial Greatsword.

Forest Regalia

Forest Regalia

After triggering Dendro-related reactions with Dendro characters, leaf of consciousness will be produced. It can be picked up by all characters in the team. Picking it up increases the Elemental Mastery of the picking character. Dori can further enhance her own utility by equipping Forest Regalia.

The Bell

The Bell

When the above Energy Recharge weapons are unavailable, Bell can be chosen. The substat of Bell increases the max HP of the character, which in turn increases Dori’s healing amount. However, if the above Energy Recharge weapons are available, they are recommended as a higher priority.

Dori’s Best Artifact Recommendation- Genshin Impact Dori Guide

Artifact Set Choice – Genshin Impact Dori Guide

Dori can choose easier-to-assemble “2+2” combinations, such as Emblem of Severed Fate (Energy Recharge +20%), Tenacity of the Millelith (HP +20%), Maiden Beloved, and Ocean-Hued Clam (Healing Bonus +20%).

If no other characters in the team use the Noblesse Obige 4-piece set, Dori can also choose to use it.

In addition, artifact sets that can further accelerate Energy regeneration for teammates such as The Exile 4-piece set or Instructor 4-piece set which increases the whole team’s Elemental Mastery when the wearer triggers an elemental reaction can also be chosen.

Substat Choices – Genshin Impact Dori Guide

Dori’s utility is linked to her HP. She needs to stack a lot of Energy Recharge to meet the 80 Energy cost of her Elemental Burst and the needs of her passive talent. Therefore, the substat choices focus on HP and Energy Recharge.

Dori’s Constellation Effects Guide in Genshin Impact

Dori’s Constellation – Genshin Impact Guide

Genshin Impact Guide Dori Constellation

Explanation of Constellation Effects – Genshin Impact Dori Guide

Constellations 1, 2, 5 mostly increase Dori’s DPS output which has little improvement for a Dori focused on Energy restoration and healing. Constellation 3 can increase the healing amount of her Elemental Burst. It is worth noting that when Dori’s Elemental Burst reaches Level 10, her Energy restoration will reach the maximum value. Further increasing the skill level through constellations will not increase the Energy restoration amount.

Constellation 6 will generate Electro-infused Normal Attacks after using Elemental Skill, which can restore HP when hitting enemies, but the actual effect is mediocre. Dori is mostly a character who leaves the field right after casting her Elemental Burst.

Constellation 4 can further increase Energy restoration and HP for on-field characters, especially increasing Energy Recharge by 30% which is very friendly for characters who need to cast their Elemental Burst as a means of dealing damage.

Dori’s Best Team Comps – Genshin Impact Guide

Double Dendro Double Electro

Collei/Dendro Traveler + Tighnari + Dori + Yae Miko/Lisa

Tighnari and Yae Miko/Lisa act as the basic Dendro and Electro damage dealers. Double Electro Resonance optimizes the team’s Energy cycle. Double Dendro Resonance further increases the team’s Elemental Mastery to increase reaction damage.

Dori can restore Energy and healing for the team, allowing Yae Miko and Lisa to stay on-field, trigger Aggravate with Normal Attacks and restore Energy for characters.

After Tighnari, Yae Miko or Lisa are built, Collei’s and Dendro Traveler’s level can be raised to further increase the team’s total damage.

Superconduct Combination with Eula

With Electro element, Energy restoration and HP restoration, Eula can be considered when discussing team compositions. Direct Energy restoration can accelerate Eula’s Elemental Burst Energy restoration.

However, since Dori also needs her Elemental Burst to be activated, when building a team with Eula, characters such as Rosaria and Xingqiu will be prioritized.

【Dori’s Team Composition Character Choices】

Dori’s Elemental Burst Energy restoration requires characters to stay on-field continuously. Therefore, when considering character choices, a character that can stay on-field continuously and needs their Elemental Burst to be activated would be more suitable.

That’s all for this Dori character guide. See you next time!
